Inês Sanches
Therapist and Facilitator

Who am I?
Among multiple roles, I am a mother, facilitator and therapist as well as an artist and goofball in my free time. After a series of burnouts while working in the financial sector, facing constant blocks in the professional and relationship areas of my life, it was clear that there were inner wounds that needed my attention.
In conventional therapy I found little relief... it clearly wasn't enough to understand the origin of my blocks.
It was when I found therapies focused on body and mind - breathwork and somatic work, that I realised I needed to go beyond rationalising the events that generated the wounds. To heal, I needed to feel, to sense and to let go of the emotional burden attached to these wounds in my subconscious.
Shadow work allowed me to go further and I began to rescue these injured parts of childhood and reparent them in a conscious and respectful way. Slowly, I started to bring light to the little creative genius long hidden from daylight.
On my healing path, I came across a tragic event in my female lineage - the suicide of a mother, witnessed by her 4-year-old daughter. This transgenerational trauma, passed from mother to daughter, had disconnected us from our feminine strength and maternal instinct.
A wound so deep that it almost completely fractured me in a psychedelic exploration.
The turning point in this transgenerational wound began with the empowered birth of my son, in our home, with a safe and feminine support network.
I was reborn and able to rescue this feminine force, gentle, respectful and capable of moving mountains. I realized that the path to healing requires time, patience and gentleness instead of explosive and forced catharsis for which we are not prepared.
So it is with this gentle, feminine and respectful strength and these tools that I come to help you overcome the blocks you face, to rescue your individuality, your own creative genius and to live a life with more purpose. ❣️

Discover how you can turn your life around
To help you, I use techniques that allow you to reconnect with your body, release stagnant emotions and internal blocks to rescue the unique treasures that live within you.
Discover a little more about them.

Breathwork
A delicate technique that leads to unique experiences. It provides access to your subconscious, allowing you to release repressed emotions in a safe and respectful way.
This is a circular breathing practice, blended with a dedicated playlist and body work, while you are lying down and focused on your bodily sensations.
This technique is safe but should be adapted or even avoided in people with glaucoma, high blood pressure, bipolar disorder or severe depression, aneurisms, strokes and heart problems, epilepsy, detached retina, glaucoma and seizures.

Somatic Work
Somatic work consists of reconnecting the mind-body connection, where we explore bodily sensations, from the most exuberant to the most subtle, training your ability to listen to the messages that the body gives you, not only allowing you to take decisions aligned with you but also live a more meaningful life.
Furthermore, this work allows you to understand how the different emotions manifest in your body. Through gentle breathing and focusing on the changes that occur in your body, you will be able to release stagnant emotions and chronic tensions in the body.

Shadow Work
We are all born with a unique individual shine and presence. Unfortunately, due to our vulnerable nature as children, the need to "fit in" with society and be loved and accepted by our caregivers, we end up suppressing the parts of us that get rejected, sending them to the darkest realms of our beings.
We edit and replace them with conditioned masks that we act out to fit in like the perfectionist or the victim. These separate us from our unique creative geniality as children leaving us unsure of who we are, what we want and what are we here to do.
With this work, we will observe the wounds that sent these hidden parts to the shadows, explore the conditioned masks that were developed to protect us and nurture the wounds and emotions underneath- a process of reparenting to reintegrate them into our individuality.
Because we are all a unique piece of this infinite puzzle that is life.
